Terms
Package URLs is operated by Cofactor, LLC. Stripe is the payment processor. Package URLs has its own Stripe account, and each product has its own Stripe account.

The service
Package URLs serves import redirection for a hostname you own. Today that is Go, PHP, Rust, Swift, Ruby, and Elixir. You choose the git forge. The repository stays on that forge. We do not host your source, and we do not clone or proxy git. Moving the repository to another forge later is a stored change. The import path can stay the same.
The hostname remains yours. You can serve the import response yourself, or point the hostname somewhere else.
Plans and automatic renewal
- Free is $0. It includes 10,000 requests a month and 1 route. Free stops serving at that allowance and is not billed. There is no card. Free does not renew into a paid plan.
- Pro is $29 a month or $290 a year. It includes 100,000 requests a month and 25 routes. The monthly price renews automatically each month at $29 a month until you cancel. The annual price renews automatically each year at $290 a year until you cancel.
- Max is $129 a month or $1,290 a year. It includes 1,000,000 requests a month and 100 routes. The monthly price renews automatically each month at $129 a month until you cancel. The annual price renews automatically each year at $1,290 a year until you cancel.
Prices are in USD. The annual price is ten months of the monthly price. The included request count is a monthly allowance on both the monthly and the annual price. On Pro and Max, requests past that allowance still resolve, and nothing is billed for the excess.
A paid plan starts only after you choose that plan and submit payment. Free does not become Pro or Max on its own. Before a paid plan renews, we email the address on the account 7 days before renewal for monthly plans and 30 days before renewal for annual plans. That message names the plan, the price, the renewal date, and how to cancel.
Cancel from your account. Manage billing on Stripe opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can cancel the paid plan. You can also email support@cofactor.consulting from the address on the account and ask to cancel. Cancellation does not require a phone call.
A cancelled paid plan lasts through the period already paid, then the account is Free. Extra routes stay stored and stop resolving. The oldest routes keep resolving, up to the Free route cap.
Refunds are described on Refunds and cancellation. You can cancel and request a refund at any time, and we refund the unused portion of the current billing period on a prorated basis.
Acceptable use
Use Package URLs for hostnames you control and for repositories you have the right to name. Do not use it to break the law, to impersonate someone else, or to attack other systems. We may suspend a hostname that does.
Export
You may not use Package URLs where export control or economic sanctions laws forbid it. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you. We may refuse or suspend service where we have to in order to comply.
Accounts
Sign-in is handled by Clerk. An account that never verifies its email and never has a live paid plan is warned after seven days and deleted seven days after that warning, along with its routes. Verifying the email, or having a live paid plan, stops that deletion.
Deleting the account cancels the Stripe subscription immediately. That cancellation does not by itself refund a charge.
If we shut down
If Package URLs shuts down, you get ninety days' notice and your routes as a plain text file. The hostnames stay yours.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. A new price applies to the next renewal after we tell the email on the account. Continued use after the new date is acceptance of the updated terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that place hear disputes about these terms.
